Here I am doing final checks before flying to Chicago for three nights performances with my band Liverpool at "The Fest For Beatles Fans".
Really excited this year as we have the special opportunity to perform "Revolver", the most significant transformative album of the Beatles career, in it's entirety...sitar and tablas included. We will also be performing some obscure and hit based selections from their early and full production later years in recognition of Sir George Martin and his magic as, in my opinion, "the fifth Beatle"...wait, theres more!
Immediately after the Saturday and Sunday performances, we will be joined by BADFINGER'S Joey Molland. He is one of my favorite performers we've worked with and the songs speak for themselves. We will also be joined by the Merseybeats own Billy J. Kramer (The Dakotas), the legendary Albert Lee (for all you guitarists out there), and...
Last but not least, the most colorful Mark Hudson (Hudson Bros, Ringo producer, song writer for Aerosmith, Ozzy, etc etc etc) for some showstopping, screaming performances to close out the night!....
Ok, now back to get ready mode. Man, I hate packing!....much to do...Hope to see you there!
